Knots

What will you do with so much memory?
Look at us, come between us
Through all of our knots to forget

You aspire to drown us
Pass your handkerchief over it
Follow me, wipe me everywhere where I remember

Stay where you are
I will accompany myself alone
Pass me some of the words that you drank

Pass over my forgetfulness, pass over my mistakes
Do not ever call me anymore so that I can ignore me
Untie anything that holds me

Our handkerchiefs for you to remember
Tie a knot at each
Blow your nose without a word in the one I thought I preferred

Do not go away
All this white memory to the brim
Enclose it in my links that tangle you and wring us

Hasten me to go anywhere where I do not have you to be reminded
Sit me down
Hold your two hands tight on my forehead so that finally lose it.
